PRIMESTONE ATTENDS DISTRIBUTECH 2012

From January 24-26 took place DistribuTECH 2012 in San Atonio, Texas,  a utility industry's smart grid conference and exposition, covering automation and control systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering, T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment and water utility technology and where Primestone participated as assistant. COLOMBIA- PRIMESTONE PRESENTS PRIMEGRID TO COMPLY CREG RESOLUTION 172 OF 2011

Primestone presents PrimeGrid, a powerful tool to comply with the CREG Resolution number 172 of 2011 (December 1, 2011) which establishes the methodology for implementing plans to reduce non-technical losses in the local distribution system. This resolution applies to Network Operators as the Retail Traders serving STN users users and has 90 days from the publication of the resolution for the submission of plans. COLOMBIA-CODENSA SELECTED PRIMEGUARD FOR LOSS ENERGY REDUCTION PROGRAM

"The loss rate reached the lowest value in the history of the company 7.84% at end-September. This figure has been registered for more than six consecutive months below 8% results. Some of these successful results is due to the actions taken, such as increasing the capacity of technical inspections by 20% and technical measures by 50% as well as detailed tracking customers that is being automated with the implementation of loss monitoring center (Mantis)". ENERCA implemented remote reading services with  ZigBee devices and ITRON meters (Actaris) ACE6000 using PrimeRead ES. The initial project is for 500 meters and seeks to capture accurate measurements with low communication costs. Read more
