PrimeRead PDA v3.0

PrimeStone's powerful PrimeRead PDA v3.0 is a complete yet portable revenue interval meter data acquisition software tool designed to provide in-field mobility for the incomparable PrimeRead Energy Suite.  Coupled with a compatible portable computer, PDA, or similar hand-held computing device capable of running the software, PrimeRead PDA gives the on-site meter reader and the modern utility the flexibility to acquire data manually, in the field, to upload and merge those acquired data with data interrogated through routine, automated methodologies, then to move on to the next read in the most economical and time saving manner possible.

PrimeRead PDA v3.0 software solution is a portable implementation of a substantial subset of the functionality rich PrimeRead Enterprise v8.0 software.  The difference is that PrimeRead PDA v3.0 has been designed in a "tighter" package for smaller-scale implementations on devices that are far less powerful than are the modern software servers upon which on-site, behind the firewall portions of the PrimeRead Energy Suite are routinely implemented.  Through significant scale-down of the computational overhead of PrimeRead Enterprise and other components of the PrimeRead Energy Suite, the PrimeRead PDA v3.0 codeline has been optimized for use on a portable computer and/or a Personal Data Assistant-type device running a supported Windows Portable Operating System.  PrimeRead PDA v3.0 also includes a captive, integrated relational database for ease of integration with other applications in the PrimeRead Energy Suite, as well as integration with various third party applications such as work management systems, GIS applications, workforce automation applications, etc. 

Interval data, register data and event data acquired by PrimeRead PDA v3.0 (probed data) may be uploaded manually to the utility’s instance of PrimeRead Enterprise v8.0 software by direct connection to the PrimeRead server, remotely through the use of Microsoft Internet Information Services or similar software link, or even wirelessly by way of the wireless communications infrastructure(s) that are available in the vicinity of the device upon which PrimeRead PDA v3.0 is loaded.

PrimeRead PDA v3.0 adds the ability to load, remotely or by direct interface, flexible meter reading routes, and to update and change these routes on the fly.  Through the use of PrimeRead PDA v3.0 the utility has a powerful remote, handheld interval revenue meter data management tool with all of the power that a modern utility needs to get the job of reading the more challenging meters accomplished as cost effectively, as efficiently, and as flexibly as possible.

PrimeRead PDA v3.0 is the in-field solution for those times when a meter just has to be read manually.
